Biography

Born in Wellington, New Zealand where Brad graduated with a Diploma in Business from Massey University, and a Bachelor of Commerce Degree from Victoria University. 

Brad moved to Australia in 2006 where he initially worked for BMW Sydney.  In 2007 Brad was the number one sales consultant in Australia and was able to earn enough income to grow an impressive property portfolio of seven residential properties in Sydney, Melbourne and Queensland. 

In 2008 a one year role selling IT Solutions did not encourage any personal growth in his career.

In 2009 Brad entered the property investment industry and started educating people how to grow property portfolios the way he had. 

In 2010 Brad was a keynote speaker on World Economics and Australian Property presenting to accounting groups and their clients. 

From 2009 - 2012 Brad worked with Clik Real Estate, a fin-prop online portal allowing agents to share vendors and buyers.  Taking a Director role Brad was instrumental in the growth of the company.  In 2012 Clik was ranked 10th in the Annual Smart Company Top Start-up Awards and was overall winner for best product.

In 2010 Brad founded Folio Property, a Project Marketing and Property Investment company which held a corporate Real Estate Licence in NSW and QLD.  Brad pioneered selling entire property developments over the phone and built impressive marketing strategies that saw an organic growth of a 100,000+ strong database. Brads property company had a regular segment on Real Estate News Television giving market analysis. The property company later formed an off-shoot branch that raised money for a Sydney based property developer. 

Brad in 2011 co-founded Rates Direct, a fin-tech finance company that built a state of the art custom white labelled I-Frame and back end CRM system that connected to the major banks and also integrated on hundreds of Real Estate Agents websites, recruiting the head systems Architect and Project manager of E-Trade to complete the technology. In 2012 Rates Direct was the largest introducer of Mortgages to the banks in Australia with over $4 billion of fully qualified enquiries to the banks. 

In 2013 Brad's company was awarded the Real Estate Institute of NSW Excellence award for Innovation for providing the Rates Direct white labelled platform to be seamlessly integrated into Agents websites that provided them with a supplementary income they were not used to getting. 

In 2012 Brad co-founded the Partner Invest Group, a short term B2B finance company.  Brad's role was to grow the size of funds under management. Brad exited the company in 2017 after growing it to almost $50 million under management.  The company at the time was very successful with exponential growth expected to continue. 

Brad's property company in 2015 had raised soft cost (early stage development costs) for a pipeline of $400 million of property developments over ten different Sydney sites. The first development was completed in 2015, a 147 room Serviced Apartments Quest Hotel. The model was very successful in creating equity in projects, adding value by site amalgamation, getting DA approvals, pre-sales etc.  At its peak had an equity position of around $80 million.

In 2016 Brad travelled to Sierra Leone as a member of Humanitad Foundation. Whilst there on the humanitarian assignment Brad got to make many political connections and later founded the Valint Mining Group, which started with a small mining operation in Sierra Leone. 

In 2017 Brad had a complete change of scene after dwindling Sydney development site prices and not seeing eye to eye with other business partners who didn’t share the same work ethic. Brad had earlier come across SRT (Satellite Resource Tracker) an incredible mineral identification technology, Brad partnered with the technology partner on mining projects, moving to Sierra Leone in 2017 where he was a Permanent Resident living there until 2020 whilst setting up a Gold and Diamond Mining company. SRT Technology gives a competitive advantage like no other, with vast opportunities for collaboration in Australia and Internationally.

Brad has been working and advising in the crypto and tech industry since 2020 through his company Valint Group, a specialist advisory team and growth enabler, having successfully worked closely with a number of crypto/blockchain companies. In 2021 Brad took a Head of Growth advisory position with BullionFX, recruiting around half the executive team, and successfully oversubscribed a capital raise bringing in around half the shareholder base. Valuable insights gained into the blockchain industry, and its applications across various sectors like decentralised banking, and precious metals.

Brad has always had an interest in sustainability and green/clean technology, after doing some preliminary work with pyrolysis technology early in 2022, later, he came across a fascinating and superior technology in Waste Magic, which converts any organic waste to carbon and distilled water with zero emissions via its patented catalyst. Initially taking an advisory role, after restructuring the business plan and securing some key contracts Brad later became CEO and is most excited and passionate about expanding Waste Magic worldwide to serve our communities better and tackle the pollution problem.

In 2023 Brad and his partners acquired the regional rights to Solapave, an innovative sustainable solar-powered paving system that replaces traditional pavement with solar technology to generate clean energy from sunlight combined with a battery storage solution and micro-grid distribution control. The Solapave Australia team is working towards building the very first Solapave factory worldwide in NSW to cater to ever-growing interest, especially in new subdivisions and developments where the road infrastructure can easily power an entire estate

2023/2024 will see the Brad and Valint Group firmly focused on providing Waste Magic and other sustainable solutions at a government and corporate level in Australia and Internationally.

Brad’s passions and spare time interests are psychology, meditation, healing modalities, travelling - having covered 50 countries and counting, spending time with his family and cherishing the moments playing with his son Marlo.
